MSI's HAWK series of overclocking graphics cards have become synonymous with affordable overclocking graphics cards. With an MSI HAWK Graphics card you're always getting a card that performs out of its league thanks to the better component quality and enhanced overclocking potential.

TwinFrozr

MSI's Twin Frozr has been the industry defining graphics card cooler. The first Twin Frozr kicked of the dual-fan trend and today MSI still shows class-leading performance.

A Twin Frozr cooler uses large Propeller Blade Technology Fans, plenty of heat pipes with SuperPipe technology, a dense fin-grid array and custom heat sinks for the memory modules and PWM components. A backplate reinforces the structure of the card and helps in thermal dissipation.

Airflow Control Technology

The Twin Frozr IV Advanced Thermal Design is equipped with Airflow Control Technology. These little fins inside the heatsink direct airflow towards the heat pipes for much faster heat dissipation. This enables MSI HAWK graphics cards to run with lower fan speeds and less fan noise.

Military Class 4 components

The key deciding factor in performance is stability. The higher your stability, the higher your performance can be. MSI exclusively uses Military Class 4 components to power the HAWK. These components are MIL-STD-810G certified and have proven to be able to withstand the torturous conditions of extreme overclocking.

Copper Mos

This latest technology of MOSFETS are built on a copper packaged principle which dissipate heat fast evenly and make sure the right voltages hit the right components on the MSI Lightning graphics card.

Super Ferrite Chokes

Super Ferrite Chokes use a Ferrite core that is Super-Permeable. This allows the Super Ferrite Chokes to run at a 35 degree Celsius lower temperature, have a 30% higher current capacity, a 20% improvement in power efficiency and better overclocking power stability.

Dark CAP

With their aluminum core design, Dark CAP's have been a staple in high-end design mainboard designs and provides lower Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) as well as its over-10-year lifespan.

Active Phase Switching (APS)

Increase efficiency by disabling unneeded power phases in low power demand situations

V-Check Points

V-Check Points allow you accurately measure the voltages of your graphics card as software will always show a small variance and this can be disastrous under wrong circumstances.

Twin BIOS

Default BIOS with out-of-the-box overclock and LN2 BIOS for extreme overclockers, removes built-in protection and limitations.

Afterburner

MSI Afterburner has quickly become the favorite overclocking software for media, overclockers and end-users. Because of its simple interface, it's easy to learn, but it packs a lot of powerful features like an integrated benchmark utility called Kombustor that can check your system performance in benchmarking mode, or run as a stability test.

Don't speak English? No problem: MSI Afterburner is translated in many languages including Russian, Spanish, Chinese and Korean! Not satisfied with the looks? Just change to one of the many different skins or create one yourself with ease!

Even better, you can run Afterburner straight from your smartphone! Download the MSI Afterburner App from Google Play or the Apple store and start overclocking with your phone!

‘Boost Clock Frequency’ is the maximum frequency achievable on the GPU running a bursty workload. Boost clock achievability, frequency, and sustainability will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to: thermal conditions and variation in applications and workloads. ‘Game Frequency’ is the expected GPU clock when running typical gaming applications, set to typical TGP (Total Graphics Power). Actual individual game clock results may vary. © 2021 Micro-Star Int'l Co.Ltd. MSI is a registered trademark of Micro-Star Int'l Co.Ltd. All rights reserved.
